Want To Be a Certified Floodplain Manager?

Through the Association of State Floodplain Managers (ASFPM), our mothership, Certification in floodplain management is offered. I offer this exam each year at our annual conference. It is a test that requires some studying and good working knowledge of the National Flood Insurance Program. There is a fee to take the exam and annual CEU's to maintain the Certification. It is a great way to show our professionalism in our field. If you are interested in taking this exam, please let me know and I will get you the study material for this exam.

It's true, UFSMA has a blog. Long over due. Now we can talk about all sorts of floodplain and stormwater issues and announce conferences and workshops better.
